About

Meet Dallas: Your Host

I’m Dallas, a proud Alaskan who loves this place. Alaska is one of the most amazing spots in the world, and I feel incredibly lucky to call it home. My wife is gorgeous, and we have three beautiful kids. I live for the outdoors and love adventures of any kind, especially when the sun is shining. I often pull over just to sit and soak up the sun because we don’t get enough of it up here.

I partake in and am pretty darn good at the following so ask for recommendations if it applies: skiing, boating, mountain climbing, cooking, hunting, fly fishing, raising kids in Alaska, and genarlly anything in and around Alaska and the outdoors. I spend on average 50-60 nights per year in a tent.

I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures, spicy food, sunny beaches, and thrilling adventures. But I also love coming home to Alaska.

My favorite drinks are tequila, wine, and Modelo Especial, though I’m a fan of most drinks I’ve tried. My family in California wine country has refined my wine palate, but great tequila tops everything—though it’s hard to find outside of Mexico.

I’ve traveled to, and enjoyed being a guest in, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Bahamas, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, India, UAE, the UK, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Croatia, and our neighbor to the east, Canada.

A few last words:

1. I’m not shy, so please feel free to ask me anything, even if it’s unsavory.

2. I respect your hard-earned money, so if something is amiss, let me know, and I’ll make it right.

Welcome to Alaska, my home!
